When you are planning your wedding it is important to fit the day around the key elements. For example, if your ceremony is already booked then arrange your wedding breakfast, speeches, evening reception etc around this. However if your fixed element is the party in the evening then you should work backwards.
Remember to allow sufficient time for your photographer to take the key photographs and spend some time alone with you to take some more intimate shots. Your photographer will be able to advise you on how much time will be needed.
Both of you have planned for months, if not years, in order to make this day run as smoothly as possible but just bear in mind that the day may not go as planned.
Try to anticipate that things might go wrong such as the make-up artist arriving late, the car getting a flat tyre etc. If you stay composed during any last minute problems and expect the unexpected, you will enjoy the day and remain calm and relaxed. Remember that it is usually these types of unexpected events that make the best stories for years to come.
Whatever happens, remember that this is your day – enjoy each and every moment of it.
