Emma & Andy’s Stock Brook Manor Wedding
On a gorgeous mid-summer’s Monday, Emma & Andy were married during a beautiful ceremony at Stock Brook Manor, where they also held their reception. On the morning of the wedding, the weather was beautiful, which thankfully continued for the duration of the day. I arrived at Emma’s house as everyone was getting ready and excitement was high for the day ahead.

The 29th of June 2019 was both the hottest day of the year and the date of Clare and Karl’s stunning wedding at Little Channels in Essex. On the gloriously sunny morning, I arrived as Clare and her bridesmaids were preparing for the day ahead. It was easy to see straight away that so much thought and attention had gone into their wedding. With so many gorgeous details, I kicked things off by photographing those finishing touches, including the dresses, jewellery, accessories and flowers. In particular, I loved the choice of blue hues, which popped throughout.

I have a soft spot for the venue! On the morning of the wedding, I met with Asha and her bridesmaids. I set myself to work, capturing all those little detail shots which are great additions to a wedding album. Despite unpredictable weather, it was thankfully on our side as I captured some great photos throughout the day.

Getting married in the midst of a heatwave can be uncomfortable, but while it was hot on the day, it was thankfully a welcome few degrees cooler, at around 29°. I began the day by meeting with Lorna and her bridal party at the Manor of Groves Hotel, where they made good use of the beautiful bridal suite for their preparations ahead of the church wedding.

Taking place a couple of days before New Year’s Eve, their twilight ceremony took place at 5pm, so with limited lighting, I enjoyed the challenge of getting more creative with their photos.
