Alix & Arrons Wedding at The Crooked Billet started at their home with Alix’s bridal preparation photos. All the photos here were taken in the lounge whilst Alix and her bridesmaids were having their hair and makeup done. As you can image there was a lot of excitement and a few nerves not to mention the usual chaos that seems to ensue. Still I managed to capture plenty of great photos for them.
The back light on Alix’s shoes and with her dresses helped to make them standout even more and the beautiful little charm on Alix’s bouquet was very special to her.
Alix’s niece trying so hard to be the princess for the day and that smile was so infectious! Love that little heart warming moment when Dad see’s his daughter for the first time in her wedding dress and her sisters reaction as well as Dad’s face says it all.
As far as grooms go Arron was so laid back and calm he could have been horizontal. Nothing fazed him and his relaxed state clearly shows in the photos.
It’s always nice to have a couple of minutes with the bride and her dad just before the ceremony starts.
Alix & Arron’s wedding ceremony went as smoothly as expected with only a small handful of tears.
As predicted the weather was perfect allowing me to get all of their group photos after the ceremony their lovely wedding ceremony. There were quite a few to get through but here as just a few.
I love having a few moments with the bride and groom after their wedding to get some fabulous photos of them together. The sunlight was pretty intense so I had to ensure that they were correctly positioned whilst also making sure that all my photos were perfectly exposed and not bleached out. It’s all too easy to lose detail in the wedding dress if your not careful.
A couple of night time photos before the first dance for Alix & Arron before Alix danced with her dad which was quite emotional but all for the right reasons.
