On a gorgeous mid-summer’s Monday, Emma & Andy were married during a beautiful ceremony at Stock Brook Manor, where they also held their reception.
On the morning of the wedding, the weather was beautiful, which thankfully continued for the duration of the day. I arrived at Emma’s house as everyone was getting ready and excitement was high for the day ahead.
I like to kick proceedings off by photographing those all-important details, which are welcome additions to a wedding album, so I set to work.
Flower girls, Rosie and Poppy enjoyed their fluffy flower cushions, which were a gift from Emma, for playing a special part in their wedding day.
We then made our way to Stock Brook Manor, where the bridal preparations continued. I loved the choice of colours in the bouquets, with pops of pink and blue proving perfect for the season.
One of my favourite photos is the dad’s first look of his daughter in her dress. Emma’s choice of lace and tulle ballgown was a winning option, and she definitely exuded fairy tale vibes.
Emma’s leading ladies wore dove grey floor length dresses, which complemented the bouquets. I love seeing how everything ties so well together.
The groom preparations with Andy and the boys also took place at Stock Brook Manor, although separately, of course.
I often get asked for photo requests, which I’m always happy to oblige with and this one came from Andy’s dad. On a previous family holiday, the boys had a group photo taken, where everyone was dressed smart with the exception of Andy, who wore shorts. The tables were turned this time with Andy being the only one fully dressed.
Of course, the men changed into full suit attire before the wedding.
Stock Brook Manor was dressed to perfection. Emma’s walk up the aisle was beautiful.
After the ceremony, we made our way outdoors to the beautifully manicured lawns for group photos.
I also grabbed a few moments with the happy couple on their own for their romantic photos. The gardens were just beautiful at this time of year, so we made good use of them.
Next, we made our way indoors for the wedding breakfast, which took place in the Rosewood Suite.
Andy’s brothers and best man took to the floor and tag teamed their speeches, which went down a treat.
I love this shot! We headed back outside as the light was beginning to fade.
Emma and Andy’s wedding cake was definitely a hit with guests. A work of art, for sure.
After the happy couple took to the dance floor for their first dance, we went outside for some final shots by sunset.
Congratulations Emma and Andy on an amazing Stock Brook Manor wedding day. Thank-you for asking me to be a part of it.
