I first met Maria and Michael at a wedding fair I attended in Chelmsford. After chatting and looking through my work, we decided an engagement session would offer a great chance to work together and get a feel for my work. So a few weeks later, we met at Hylands House and Gardens in Chelmsford for their engagement session.
Hylands House is a favourite location of mine, and equally loved by my couples. We were extremely lucky with perfect weather for September and given the ideal location, I knew we had a great shoot ahead.
As the couple were new to being professionally photographed, as are the majority of couples, we kicked things off by discussing their vision for their wedding day photography. Armed with a good understanding of what they had in mind, we took advantage of the park’s many stunning settings. We moved in and around them to find the perfect flow.
It didn’t take Maria and Michael long to settle in and become more relaxed. The result of this was some beautiful photos to mark their special engagement. Despite it being the beginning of autumn, the park was still in full bloom. The pops of colour came across beautifully in their photos.
Congratulations Maria and Michael! Happy wedding planning.
