I first met Asha and Dan at a local wedding fair. We got talking about their vision for their wedding day, and my range of wedding photography options available. Following a chat, while they browsed my viewing albums, we exchanged details. A few weeks later, I was delighted when the couple booked me for their wedding day. This is taking place at Channels in Essex next month and I’m sure it will be an amazing day.
With my all-day wedding packages, I offer a pre-wedding session. This gives us the chance to get together ahead of the wedding and try out some shots. As well as using the opportunity to get to know each other a little better, it marks a truly special time in a couple’s lives together. During an occasion that can be hectic with wedding planning, it’s nice to take just a moment to slow things down and reflect on what is yet to come.
Asha and Dan proved to be naturals in front of the camera. The shoot took place at my favourite location, Hylands Park, during the midst of the July heatwave. Given the good weather, the park was packed but we were able to move around, taking advantage of quieter spots, which offered shade. This valuable session helps ensure the bride and groom are prepared for how their photos and day will unfold, as photography definitely shouldn’t be something you stress about on your wedding day.
Given the good weather, the park offered an abundance of colour, which was the perfect backdrop to their photos. In particular, I love this shot, with the covered canopy perfectly framing the photo.
We added in some fun shots too to highlight the couple’s sense of humour.
Keep your eyes peels for their wedding photos next month. It’s sure to be an amazing day!
